Preparing for a Puppy

Puppies are always fun to have around the house; they’re playful, lovable, and adorable when they’re not yet a year old.  However, having a puppy is a lot of work, and during the first year puppies require extensive attention.  To help prepare for a puppy, you will want to purchase items like a dog crate, chew toys, dog brush, and puppy food in advance.  You might also want to consider items like lemon juice (to prevent from barking), and a pet stain remover to remove urine odor from carpet and floors.

Puppies require a lot of exercise and need to be fed up to three times a day.  If you work and are the sole caretaker for a new puppy, you might need to come home during lunch to let them out and feed them for the first several months.

Eliminating Embarrassing Car Odors

When you’re the kind of person who likes to take your dogs with you everywhere, you’ve probably had a few accidents in your car that might still have a lingering smell.  In addition, the normal odors from wet dog to dirt and grit can make traveling in the car unbearable.  Odor is caused by tiny particles of matter floating in the air, and while you might think an odor dissipates over time, more often your nose simply grows accustomed to the smell.  When cleaning up messes in your car, be sure to use a product that is not only a cleaner but an odor eliminator.

Odor eliminators attack the particles of matter floating around that cause odor, and reduce and eliminate bad smells rather than mask them.  When choosing a product, be sure to look for a label that states ‘odor eliminator’, if it doesn’t it’s just masking the awful scent!
